Offered is a vintage late 1970s through the early 1980s burnished ceramic oblong serving platter from Tonalá in Jalisco, Mexico and created by Ken Edwards renowned for his studio, El Palomar.
The bird and flower are typical of the region, as are the colors, green and brown, made from natural tints native to the area.
Perfect for appetizers, tapas, olives and cheese, fruit and nuts, charcuterie, or even as a catchall for keys and change.
Measures 11.75" long, 4.875" wide, and 1" tall, and is marked "Mexico - K. E." on the bottom.
