Description: An Italian carved-wood raised chest with bow front, from the 19th century. This antique chest from Italy has a softly-rounded … more An Italian carved-wood raised chest with bow front, from the 19th century. This antique chest from Italy has a softly-rounded bow shaped front which carries through from the top to the case below. There are two of full-sized drawers, each with a pair of rectangular panels, bail pulls within each panel and an escutcheon at center between each panel. All four side posts are rounded, with fluted carved details, and continue down tapering to their feet. There is a custom bleached finish which has been complimented with a creamy/blue accent. This 19th century Italian raised bow-front chest is quite a neat piece! And versatile enough to be a useful storage and display option for just about any room in your home! less
