No button tufting or biscuits on these. That has been ruled out. The legs are tapered and have a French curve. I believe the wood is Chestnut. The legs have been painted matte black. The seat springs are coiled and held in check with twine and burlap strapping.
The back seat cushion is curved and flares out. Classic, stylish, furniture which can crossover to this time frame. William Haines the master of design nuance. The trending price on these is double of my pair. less
