Gorgeous one of a kind studio piece by Colorado artist Lisa Koch.
"With her combination of functional and non-functional clay creations, Lisa Koch avoids the term 'pottery' to describe her creations. "
"Koch often employs overlapping glazed and wax resist in her trademark pieces. Starting with a white glaze for a base, she adds hot wax to block off any other colors on certain areas, then dips in overlapping glazes. This allows for unique shapes and forms that couldn't be achieved otherwise, she explains. "
