Description: This one of a kind extra large rectangular antique French pastry table has a reddish with white veins in the … more This one of a kind extra large rectangular antique French pastry table has a reddish with white veins in the carved natural marble top with an extremely heavy wrought iron and brass scrolled base. The large C-Scroll legs have wrought iron stretchers with brass ornamentation connecting all ends of the table. The cast iron apron has floral and decorative motif. The rounded edge thick marble top has a drip drain cut all along the perimeter of the marble top to keep the juices away from the meats. This table weighs approx. 300 pounds.

Tables like this are often referred to as pastry tables in America. They were used in pastry shops, but this style of table was more often used as displays for delicate meats in butcher shops. This wonderful antique table is versatile in that it can be used in the kitchen, or as a sofa or console table in another part of the home.
