Description: These were on my grandmothers sideboard, I always loved them. They are 20th century, made in China, painted tureens/pate containers. … more These were on my grandmothers sideboard, I always loved them. They are 20th century, made in China, painted tureens/pate containers. There are two different painted ducks, one light face, one dark face.They are oval ceramic duck motif tureens with a floral motif. Crisp white ceramic is hand-painted with a motif of lotus and lush green leaves in pinks, greens and blue. At the top, the lid is topped with a ceramic duck painted with a beautiful green feather patterns. My dimensions are approximate with tops on.. 10" Long X 8" high X 7" wide. They are in excellent condition, I dont think they were used to cook or hold food.
One has small sticker 'made in china'
