Maitland-Smith Tessellated Stone + Brass Inlay Credenza or Sideboard. Extremely Heavy !!
This is such a unique piece! A classic color wave for this maker, this is a stunning tessellated work of art with all rounded corners. Stone has neutral blush and coral tones with an off-white rectangular inlay at top. Brass inlay throughout and original brass hardware. Four doors open to reveal shelving and two interior drawers. Plenty of storage and can be used in many functions. Please see all condition notes and photos.
This credenza has been cleaned and shows signs of minor stone repairs to showcase its original beauty. Casters have been added to allow for easy moving. They can be easily removed once in place, if desired.

This piece was well-loved and brought back to life. At approximately 400 lbs, this is one of the HEAVIEST credenzas we've had to date! With the entire interior constructed of heavy wood panels, the structure is sound and solid. The entire exterior finish is a tessellated stone tile finish with pinstripe brass inlays. Original patina on all brass. There are slight signs of wear throughout consistent with age and use. Few nicks at stone tiles on some edges with epoxy repair, few stone tiles have been repaired and painted to match. Vertical tiles that had previous damage at rounded base have been filled and painted to match. Casters have been added for ease of moving. Casters are 3.5"h and can be removed easily. Please see all close-ups for reference and feel free to ask for extra close-ups if needed. All of our pieces are used and/or vintage pieces that have wear consistent with age. Each are rare, sometimes one-of-a kind that are found and hand-picked. We do our best to photograph and describe all characteristics.
