The box retains its original label on the underside and the original flyer from the Olive Wood & African Curio Shop in Eritrea, Ethiopia is included. It looks like the box may have experienced some minor sun fading with age but otherwise, it is in perfect condition. I’ve handled many Anglo-Indian versions of quill boxes, but never an African example. Quite beautiful in its simplicity. less
