Classic urn shaped and with mid century modern period dribble glaze decoration, this massive 1956 Carstens pottery floor vase is a delight. Grey glazed exterior with white and yellow squiggles and an interior black gun metal glaze. Scale is wonderful. Embossed in the clay underneath with Carstens mark, 497/50 and Germany.
Measurements:
19 1/4" high x 12" diameter.
