Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown Sommerso glowing green over olive green Italian art glass decorative flower vase. Documented to the designer Antonio da Ros (Italian, 1936-2012) for Vetreria Gino Cenedese. According to the previous owner, the vase is described as a "Flaconcino su Base", circa 1963. The vase has a squared-off oval shape, with a flared rim at the top and clear base. Created with a Uranium - UV reactive glass layer. The vase glows a bight neon green under a black light (see photo). The glass itself is very thick and making the vase pretty heavy. Would make a great display piece on any desk, vanity or console table. Late Mid-century era. Measures 7 34" tall x 5 3/4" long x 4 1/2" wide.
