Louis Cardin, French (b. 1931) original enamel on copper executed with colourful glazes and creative use of controlled craquelure. Portrays a cute young boy and girl in an affectionate embrace. Presented in a beautiful compound gilt frame.
Signed by the artist lower left. Also retains gallery label on the verso. "Gallery of the Kingsley" located in the elite Bloomfield Hills neighborhood northwest of Detroit, Michigan.
Condition is very good.
Mid 20 Century. This would make a great gift, and is a nicely sized piece of art for those small spaces.
