They are smart and attention grabbing and would be perfect as bedside lamps, or sitting on living room side tables. I bought them in a vintage store in West Hollywood California. Lamp shades are included and they are a linen blend. . Up to socket of lamp is 21." Up to top of finial 28.' Shades are 10' High, Top of shade is 12." and Bottom of shade is 13." less
