This is a gorgeous Chinoiserie style Bombay chest. It features gorgeous ornate hardware. Please zoom the images. There are Asian figures , trees, mountains with butterflies on the sides. I am guessing this was made in Italy. They always do the faux marble tops. I have no idea the age of this piece. THe insides are really clean. There are 2 U shaped marks on top. I think this could be touched up. This could be used anywhere. It is gorgeous.
Condition: Solid condition. The insides are clean. The hardware has patina but it is beautiful. There are 2 U shaped marks fairly light on top. I noticed a white paint spot on a side. There is some aging of the paint where the two drawers meet. This just shows age. The painting is clear.
