Rugged beauty meets modern masculine in this weathered antique Persian Serapi rug. The Caucasus tribal design and antique worn colors woven into this piece work together creating a deeply appealing look that emphasizes quality over quantity. The antique worn navy blue field features an allover rectlinear lattice decorated with stylized florals. A superimposed hooked lozenge and two square amulets run along the center adding visual interest and depth. It is enclosed with a meander border flanked with an inner and outer carnation meander guard border. The rich hues, geometric motifs and practicality of this antique Persian rug work well with the rugged look and clean-lined design aesthetic.
Rendered in variegated shades of navy blue, red, tan, royal blue, rose, beige, brown and green with other accent colors.
