The chair backs are … more Pair of generously proportioned English Sheraton mahogany shield back arm chairs with over rail upholstered seats. The chair backs are detailed with a finely carved rice sheaf above a bell flower in the center of the vertical back splat. The elbow supports are carved with laurel leaves and the legs are square and tapered with a slight flair to the foot. The seats have been re-webbed with linen, stuffed with horse hair fill, and upholstered in a gray striae horse hair fabric with brass tack detailing.
