This lovely trinket dish / ashtray is made of porcelain. This dish is stamped on the bottom as being made by Highmount in Occupied Japan, see pictures, which would date this piece to 1945-1952. This piece has a wonderful leaf-shaped silhouette, it features a stunning white and gold color scheme with a multi-colored floral motif to the center. The jagged edges of the leaf could also serve as cigarette rests, allowing this dish to work wonderfully as an ashtray.
The measurements are: height=1" width=6 3/4" depth=4" approx.
