The Wedding is an lithograph on paper realized by Hégésippe Moreau in 1838. The artwork is in good conditions with slight foxing. Hégésippe Moreau (1810-1838) was a French lyric poet. The romantic myth was solidified by the publication of his complete works;Moreau's work has a strong note of imitation from André Chénier, Pierre-Jean de Béranger and Auguste-Marseille Barthelemy. His most important works are: La Voulsie, the romance La Fermire , The Mysotis. Moreau wrote some charming prose stories: Le Gui de chene, La Souris blanche, Contes à ma Sœur . This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
