Vintage; C.1960's Italian hand-blown Murano Apple & Pear bookends, and/or decorate accent pieces with gilt gold dust inclusions to the hand-applied leaves, also hand-blown, with a transparent outer layer and a carnelian ruby red interior. Polished pontil base bottoms and sides, this way the apple and pear can be upright or down in repose, given the intended nature of bookends, and the solid weight of each of the pieces. In excellent condition. From an Upstate, NY Estate.
