Offered for sale is an abstract Cubist-influenced oil painting on an artist panel by the highly sought after American artist Maurice Freed (1911-1981). Freed's paintings are part of many private collections both in the United States and abroad. His works have been shown in many galleries and museums. Freed was also known as the Creative Director for Esquire magazine. The painting is displayed in a wide carved wood frame with a linen wrapped liner and is signed lower left on the panel.
