There are a few spots where the lacquer has chipped and one spot of "crazing". There is also one hinge that has detached a bit. The screen is still very secure, and folds nicely. As you can see, the screen … more Here is an elegant, vintage 4-panel Asian folding floor screen in the Coromandel style. As you can see, the screen is double sided so you can place it in the middle of a room for privacy and both sides will look beautiful! The first side shown in the photos depicts a daily life scene - there are figures, architecture and greenery. The pattern is carved into the wood and hand-painted. The reverse side, depicts a nature scene with an outstretched leafy branch and two colorful birds. Both sides are truly lovely. The legs of the panels have brass ferules.

Each panel is 16 x 1 x 72.25. Measurements below are for the screen folded. less
