Signed at lower left.The large landscape is completely tamed by the play of color: divided into two hemicamps given by the sky and the ground (a mountain heath where sporadic fir trees sprout), it sees the pinkish blue of the sky prevailing above, and the greenish blue of the snow on the ground below, two shades of the same color range that then meet in the skyline of the mountains. Cinotti was a landscape painter and exponent of Italian Divisionism, whose painting is characterized by a textural, mellow layering with touches of spatulate color.In coeval frame.
