A glazed Sancai piece true to form, the horse has it's front leg raised and the boy is wearing a rich blue coat and black cap - riders face and base unglazed. It is unusual to find a horse with it's rider in this style. In very good condition overall.
Actual age unknown - this T'ang horse and rider may well be a treasure waiting to be discovered - these figures or statues make impressive visual displays in the home or office.
