Bokhara rugs have small, repeating geometric designs and are woven with very fine wool. The most common Bokhara design consists of rows of "Tekke" guls or medallions (the Tekkes were one of the Turkmen tribes). Bokhara rugs are made in Pakistan, Turkey, Uzbekistan, and Afghanistan.
