I love to breathe new life into old images.
This handmade wall hanging features a reproduction of a wonderful botanical bookplate from the 1880s. I have digitally enhanced it and printed it on 280 gsm archival canvas using archival inks which produce a vibrant, detailed artifact that will last a lifetime. I've used 4 pieces of pine strips (on the front and back of the canvas) that have been hand cut and sanded and will age to a golden hue, to complete the look and give it weight and body. Finally, the finished art hangs with 1/4 natural twill tape. No frame is needed!
The finished size is approximately 24 x 30 inches without the hanging cord.
Not all monitors are the same, so color may vary slightly.
Item will be shipped in a sturdy cardboard tube. All you have to do is open the tube and hang it up!
Since each wall hanging is made to order, please allow 2 weeks for delivery.
