This rare complete 36 piece boxed set of Andy Warhol Pop Art collectible trading cards are by the world famous Pop Artist Andy Warhol ( 1928 - 1987 ). He is one of the singularly most well known Contemporary artists of all time, his imagery is recognized world wide and his infamous life, art works, and creative endeavors are like no other artist in the history of world art.
He is recognized as the first artist to use common everyday objects and products and view them in a completely different way while paying homage t their role in our society, glorifying the common as the beautiful. His technique utilizing a silkscreen method combined with hand finishing in a signature palette of strong vibrant color hues make the work stand on its own and loved by millions.
The rare complete 36 piece boxed set of collectors trading cards is printed in The United States by Acme Studios in 1995 with the licensed rights from The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts. It features 36 original artworks create by Warhol in his lifetime. The small scale trading card prints each have a different artwork on the card front side and information and details about that famous artwork on the reverse side.
Each trading card measures 2 3/4 W X 3 3/4 H. They are printed on heavyweight paper stock with vibrant ink colors with a satin finish. The 36 trading cards are enclosed in a 2 piece hard paper board protective box. They are in perfect vintage condition, and have never been used. They are now being offered here for an excellent price. less
