This beauty’s design was inspired by like-minded pieces made by Gabriella Crespi, who had a way of creating innovative designs with humble natural materials that combined warmth and sophistication. The repeating coiled rattan vine design creates a wide round shape, making it a substantially sized bowl/basket appropriate for most any décor need. Filled full of orbs, twigs or spheres, it will make a chic organic wow statement on any tabletop as a centerpiece bowl or large fruit bowl atop any expansive kitchen island. It measures 17” x 17” x 6¼” W/D/H; interior 16” x 16” x 6” W/D/H; weight 1 lb. 9 oz. Handcrafted from pencil reed rattan in a coiled design; mellow color is naturally aged rattan. In excellent structural and cosmetic condition with minimal age-appropriate wear; tight coils, no gaps. It hails from India, circa 1970. For a touch of bohemian charm, this beauty will complement any modern space.
