The painting is meant to induce a restful, pensive, meditative state.
This is professional grade acrylic on a hollow core wood panel measuring 36" high by 80" wide by 1.5" deep. It has a glossy surface. It is hung by a wood French cleat and has a homemade painted wood frame which is nailed on. (Nail holes are slightly visible but not really noticeable.) The front edge of the frame is painted with a metallic dark silver.

About the artist: Stephen Remick was born and raised in Vermont. He earned a BFA in Painting from Swain School of Design, a small art school in Massachusetts. He resides in a coastal New England town with his wife, Anne Carrozza Remick, who is also an artist on Chairish. Steve's paintings are in private collections all over the U.S. and abroad. less
