One of the earliest Austin Productions designs, the stylized Minimalist Elephant was “rustic”molded in Austin’s durastone/chalkware, then hand detailed by production artists in a wide variety of finishes. After being featured in several popular publications, it quickly sold out… eventually becoming a much sought after example of the late mid-century modern design aesthetic.
