Description: This gorgeous box is made of bronze/brass, we are unsure which the box is made of. This wonderful piece has … more This gorgeous box is made of bronze/brass, we are unsure which the box is made of. This wonderful piece has a marvelous gothic style, it features an intricate carved design of what appear to be religious figures all around the box, the box has a stunning deep purple velvet interior and it is very heavy and solid. The box is stamped "MGY Co.” on the bottom, see pictures. This exquisite box was likely a casket box, used in the past to hold important documents and objects, but it would work wonderfully as a cigar box, jewelry box, or just as a decoration. We do not have the key for this box, but it still opens and closes as normal.
