You are viewing a stunning American Brilliant Period serving bowl. Beautiful cut work with hobstars, fans and dual set of quadruple interlocking ellipticals. Heavy. clear, and sparkles brilliantly hence it’s namesake.
Produced by renowned Libbey Glass Company Toledo, Ohio. Sultana pattern. This piece is shown in the 1901 catalog. Less than half of American Brilliant Period glass is marked and this one is! See photo of mark in middle of bowl.
American Brilliant Glass is hand blown and hand cut crystal made with significant labor and skill. Made in the U.S. from 1880 to WW1. Renowned as the finest cut glass in the world.

This crystal bowl is 9” round and weighs 4.1 lbs.

Very clean -excellent Antique condition
Two minor miter chips-see last two photos
Please note there is second listing for a Sultana bowl 8” which is the next size down than this bowl. They were part of the same lifetime Antique collection and miraculously found incidentally several months apart at different estate events.
