Printed at Studio Heinrici, New York, this serigraph was printed in ten colors in an edition of 1,000.
Françoise Gilot, born in 1921, is a French painter who is one of the most enduring artists of the post World War I School of Paris. She is also well known for her relationship with Pablo Picasso, with whom she had two children. She later married Jonas Salk.
