A sophisticated pair of Italian Neoclassical side chairs made early in the 19th century. The square tapered legs are slightly flared and curved with nice carved details. The backs have modified gothic arches. The curved seats make the chairs more comfortable. You can find similar designed chairs made in the 1920’s and today.
Condition: Good antique condition. Nice solid frames. Upholstery should be updated as it is older and worn. Now the chairs have an older waxed finish. We will polish them if you like. less
