Crafted in the UK circa 1910 and built of brass, the dogs hold significant historical value, as they represent esteemed champions of the prestigious Waterloo Cup. Colonel North's Fullerton, a legendary canine athlete, triumphed in the cup an impressive four times between 1889 and 1892, solidifying its status as a true champion. Furthermore, Farndon Ferry, another exceptional dog, claimed victory in the cup once in 1902. Each figure is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and features a rich patinated brass finish throughout.
