Vintage "Venice Simplon Orient Express" Lithograph Poster, Circa 1980s. Art Deco in style, the advertisement harkens back to the golden age of luxury travel. Featuring a cropped, cross-section view of a ship transporting the luxury train, the “Venice Simplon Orient Express,” on the lower deck. A lighthouse can be found in the distance. Rendered in shades of blue, grays, red, yellow and black, while also incorporating the white ground within the graphics. Signed in the plate, “FIX MASSEAU 82,” in the upper-right corner.
