Chair features a bowed back with brace back support with saddle seat resting on turned legs with stretchers. Wallace nutting began reproducing colonial furniture in 1917, his pieces were made using 18th century construction techniques in order to make his pieces as close to the original as possible. Nutting's bench made pieces were targeted towards higher income homes during the depression era. Today, wallace nutting pieces wallace nutting are highly sought after and collectible.
