Gorgeous work - a totally hand woven "Hapao Saucer" basket/tray made from split rattan with a spiral 'twisted' rattan core. Natural organic stained finish - crafted by the Benguet people of mountainous Benguet Province, Luzon Island, The Philippines. Low in profile, circular/round in shape on a small foot, it's an eye catching piece that would have once been used for holding household items or fruits/vegetables. This is unused.
Quite sturdy, original tag still in place - this vintage and collectible piece is approximately 40 years old. Great for rolled up towels, linens, soaps or anything else that requires displaying either indoors or on the porch or patio.
