There is human-like nature to the trees depicted - these towering, lifelike structures are pronounced against the vivid yellow background.
Signed "Gill Levin 1973" to LR, and titled "Lakeside" to the reverse with the artist's then address is Wandsworth, London.
Very fine, vintage condition with wear to the frame as shown.

Bio from Modern British Pictures:
Gill Levin was born in Hampton, Middlesex in 1935 and brought up in Chelsea. She attended Chelsea School of Art from 1951-56 on scholarships, studying Fine Art, Sculpture, Lettering, Printmaking and Graphic Art, majoring in Fine Art. On leaving Chelsea she worked at the Design Centre, Haymarket, and was a member of the F.H.K Henrion group of designers. Gill Levin moved to Norfolk in early 1981 where she still lives and works.
