from the 13th century, Buddha was represented in a particularly elegant slender form and a high appendage in the shape of a flame on the head, symbol of wisdom. This image of the “Monday” Buddha is made of golden copper alloy, his hands represented in Abhaya Mudra (absence of fear), he is standing on a 4 -level octagonal pedestal. Thailand (Siam), Rattanakosin period (1782-1932). This piece is from the beginning of the 20th century. She is still sealed with her export license from the Department of Fine Arts in Thailand.
