Up for your consideration is a stunning Early 20th Century Royal Satsuma Hand-Painted Gold Gilt Moriage Porcelain Decorative Plate.
Moriage is a common name on slip or colored clay string decoration, mostly on Japanese porcelain, in look not unlike 'cake frosting' in which a diluted clay has been painstakingly applied to build up areas in order to give the piece a three dimensional appearance.
This decorative piece measures 10" in diameter and is in excellent condition.
