Gorgeous detail and very unique! What an excellent combination, flowers and gargoyles! Research did not bring up any other similar incense burners.
The lid seems to contain a wick of some sort. When you twist the metal arm, a wick pops up. The top part also twists from side to side.
The stand did not come with the burner, but it fits it perfectly, and will be sold along with it. The measurements are not including the wooden stand.
Age: Antique, exact age unknown, but listed as an antique by previous seller (a very trustworthy seller).
Origin: Japan
Height: 7.5 inches.
Width: 7 inches
Depth: 5.5 inches.
Height of stand: 1.75 inches.
Condition: excellent. There are no obvious imperfections, but please check the photos for yourself or something I might’ve missed.
