A elegant Victorian era mirrored marble-top dresser / vanity table / washstand chest with beautifully aged distressed patina. circa 1875
Hand-crafted in the late 19th century, ornate Aesthetic Movement styling with nods to oriental Japanned Chinoiserie taste, having an ebonized finish with attractive polychrome painted florals, having a rectangular solid wood case fitted with a single drawer, over double-door cabine,t, flanked by classical turned columns, molded trim base, rising on bun feet, topped with the original white Carrera marble top, surmounted by mirror with shaped wooden frame with gilt accents, signed, the top of the case stamped "GWT"
