Very good vintage condition with only a few minor flaws typical of age. The brass cap shows some tarnishing and discoloration. One scratch on the wood-stained base and one scratch in the black paint just above the base towards the chord. The lampshade is missing one string of beaded fringe.

This lamp has been professionally rewired and fitted with a solid brass, antique reproduction socket, and a three-way switch. New plug and chord, too. The beaded fringe lampshade is included and is not original to the lamp.

These wooden wallpaper rollers blended freehand art with exact mathematics to ensure a seamless, repeating pattern as they were rolled over long sheets of paper. They were invented in the mid-19th century and gradually replaced with flatbed rollers in the 20th century.
