Vintage Stork Club stoneware ashtray excellent piece of New York history. The Stork Club at 3 E. 53rd Street was open between the years 1926-1965. Rumor holds that the club would lose dozens of these ashtrays a day because patrons would slip them into their purses and pockets as souvenirs. They are just as collectible today, but more rare to find.
