This Really is a Beautiful - Outstanding Example of an Authentic American Primitive - Maine Apple Farm Harvest Basket. LARGE SIZE Measuring Overall Approx. 15 3/4 inches Tall x 18 inches Wide x 18 inches Long!. Circa Very Late 19th Century. These Types - Styles of Baskets were Primarily Produced and Used in North Eastern America From the Up State New York Adirondack - New Hampshire - Vermont and Down East Coastal Maine Regions. This Basket is Completely & Substantially Hand Made - Hand Woven out of Thick - Heavy Gauge Indigenous North American Ash Wood Splint. It is in All Original - Untouched as it Has Survived Over the Years Condition. It has a Wonderful Naturally Aged Color & Patina and it Displays Beautifully. It is Strong - Sound & Perfectly Usable. It has a Few Very Minor Age and Use Related Weave Imperfections but Nothing of any Consequence. I Purchased this Piece in the Down East Coastal Maine Region.
