We are very pleased to offer a pair of salt and pepper shakers by New Zealand potter Brendan Adams, circa the 1990s. Adams trained as a painter but his fascination with the possibilities of form combined with color and texture attracted him to ceramics. More recently his interest has diverted into contemporary sculptures where he combines other materials with ceramics such as steel, brass, aluminum, and wood. Handcrafted by Adams, each conical shaker is painted by hand with a blue hue and showcases intricate playful markings and then given a final glaze. Scaled up to fit perfectly when pushed together to make a cone shape, this pair will keep your table looking good and neat. Shaker’s refill from the bottom, makers signature is on the base. In excellent condition and ready to shake. Please see all attached pictures.
When pushed together the set is 4” inches in circumference by 5.25” inches high. less
