1 Fine Art Charming Traditional British Antique Victorian Original 19th Century Oil Painting 2 Sporting Hunting Terrier Dogs "Ratting" George Armfield C1867.
Subject Hunting scene of 2 Terrier Dogs who are on the scent of a rat who is out of sight just past the basket on the floor.
Title "Terriers Ratting"
Signed in the bottom left corner by the admired and loved famous British listed artist George Armfield, he had a great passion for painting animals such as dogs.
This is a fine example of his work.
A nice small size with the frame being 20 cm high and 22.5 cm wide.
Circa 19th century dated 1867.
Oil on board.
Set in a fine traditional gilt wood frame.
