The snow-covered stones and the glowing embers of a small fire speak to the resilience and simplicity of nature against the chill. This is acrylic on three hollow core wood panels. Each panel measures 80" high by 36" wide. Overall, it's 80" high by 108" wide. It's hung with a simple wood French cleat.
Please look at the images carefully. This is painted very loosely with quick brushstrokes and intentional "irregularities" and drips inherent with painting.

About the artist: Stephen Remick was born and raised in Vermont. He earned a BFA in Painting from Swain School of Design, a small art school in Massachusetts. He resides in a coastal New England town with his wife, Anne Carrozza Remick, who is also an artist on Chairish. Steve's paintings are in private collections all over the U.S. and abroad. less
