The handle is wood and the scoop is metal. It has a fantastic patina with some rusting, marks and dents on the scoop and some chipping on the wood. The handle makes it easy to use and it can still be used if you plan to do so. The scoop is 11" long, 5.25" wide and is 3" high when sitting flat. See less
