Description: Dated 1993 and signed by the artist (the initials "G. G. '93" appear to be etched) on the rear right … more Dated 1993 and signed by the artist (the initials "G. G. '93" appear to be etched) on the rear right lower corner, this is a handcrafted box comprised of paper inlaid between glass panels forged with silver edges, and a silver bead and semi-precious stone pendant forged along the rim as a handle on the front left side, as well as a mirrored glass on the inside of the box. The bottom surface has black felt adhered to protect surfaces from getting scratched.

It can be used for stashing jewelry, storing playing cards, as a desk-top accessory for supplies such as USB flash drives, or as a catch-all for keys and loose change on a console. It's a miniature mixed-media work of art and makes a lovely keepsake or hostess gift.

It measures 8" x 4.125" x 1.5". less
