We admire the past — the individuality of furniture pieces and the eye for design brands like Herman Miller have. At a glance, the brand’s industrial aesthetic might be misconstrued as a modern-day utilitarian equivalent. But, for desks and other office furniture, lines, surfaces and finishes all play a role, resulting in something modern and minimal yet simultaneously futuristic. Get those characteristics among our selection of new and vintage Herman Miller desks for sale.
About Herman Miller
Working with his son-in-law D.J. De Pree, Herman Miller bought out the Michigan Star Furniture Company in 1923. De Pree named the company after Miller. Within a few decades, Herman Miller embodied modern industrial design, influenced by the contributions of George Nelson and Charles and Ray Eames. Herman Miller continued that collaborative approach and, today, rests on its past while looking to the future for both home and commercial settings.
